Most questions will require a YES answer for you to be compliant, a NO answer means you have some work to do. Not all of these questions will apply to your business, those that don’t apply to you, simply mark N/A-Not Applicable.
Be careful of the N/A, just because you don’t think an item applies to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t. A school or a bed & breakfast will fall under the Bloodborne Pathogens standard and a construction office falls under the Ergonomics Standard for chairs and repetitive motion injuries.
As a rule of thumb if you know for sure that it does not apply, OK, (you’re in construction so you don’t have medical waste). If you hesitate answering, your answer should probably be YES, or at the very least, some research should be done.
