As an exercise, try to determine how much it will cost to have an employee research, order, follow up, file and update your MSDS inventory.
Starting from scratch, about 10 minutes per product is a fair estimate. 150 products equals 1500 minutes or about 25 hours. Multiply that by the wage rate to get your cost. Of course, while your employee is doing this they are not doing the job for which you actually pay them, so your cost is actually twice this figure.
